‘Kinara’ Wraps Thrilling Konkan Shoot; Unveils The Shore of Dreams with Anand Burad and Debut Hero Pratap Gadekar

The inspiring journey of actor Pratap Gadekar, which began with a struggling life in a village, has culminated in a significant moment with his launch as a protagonist in the upcoming Marathi film, ‘Kinara’. Marking a powerful heroic debut, Gadekar takes on a central role alongside lead actor Anand Burad as principal photography for the film successfully wraps up in the naturally picturesque locales of Adgaon, Konkan.
The film, which blends comedy and suspense, is now immediately moving into its post-production phase.
Anand Burad, who features alongside Gadekar, shared his excitement: “This film is a passion project, a beautiful ‘Kinara’ (shore) of emotions and thrills that will genuinely surprise the Marathi audience. Get ready for an experience you won’t forget.”
The film is produced under the banner of Ashtasiddhi Pictures by Antoday Narayan Sinha. It also stars actresses Pruthvi Kale and Shruti Gavhane in leading roles.
‘Kinara’ is written and directed by Sushil Sharma, with cinematography handled by Pratik Patil (with Camera Assistants Shoaib Mansuri and Shubham Jagdale). The lighting was managed by Saurabh and team. The technical team also includes Editing by Sanket Gosavi and Dev Soni, Art Direction by Mandar Kumbhar (with assistant Sulochana), Makeup, Hair & Costume by Hoor (with assistants Prachi and Anu), and Still Photography by Pankaj Dabhade.
Suresh Agarwal serves as the creative director and executive producer. Tushar Patole is the Associate Director, supported by Assistant Directors Manoj and Pranav. Swaroop Naik managed the local production.
The supporting cast features notable names such as Raju Joshi, Kanha Tiwari, Aditya Nigde, Ganesh Nigde, Santosh More, Bhima Dhanapune, Kiran More, and choreographer-actor Aniket Gaikwad
The team is now gearing up for the final stages of production, with the film slated for release soon.
